No Pepper Problem Here, People!

We here are at Surf Road realize that many of you may be concerned about the recent salmonella scare that has been linked to certain hot peppers. We would like to alleviate any fears that you may have concerning the safety of our product. First of all, we deal with the most reputable produce supplier in the country. We can trace the origins of any item we receive to the exact field and harvest whence it came. The company has been on top of the crisis since the beginning and will only provide us with produce deemed safe. Secondly, we do not serve any raw peppers in our salsas. We roast our serranos at a very high heat, well above temperatures required for killing any bacteria. The jalepenos we use are pickled. Lastly, the data pertaining to the outbreak puts all of the contaminated produce in the Midwest, with no outbreaks in Florida in particular or the South in general.
